Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Andrew Wiggins continued his impressive sophomore season Wednesday night, dropping 31 points in a 108-102 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 20-year-old was particularly lethal early on, scoring 21 points in the first half. Wiggins also collected four rebounds and three assists, while shooting 12-of-21.

Wiggins has started out the new month red-hot, scoring 30 points in back-to-back games.

After last season's stellar Rookie of the Year campaign, Wiggins has been even more impressive this year, averaging career-highs in points (20.6), field-goal percentage (44.5), and field-goals made (7.3).

The win snaps a five-game losing streak for the Timberwolves, who are now just one victory away from matching last season's total. It also ended a 14-game losing streak against the Clippers, which was the longest in the NBA against one opponent.
