Nelson experienced a setback in his recovery from a left wrist sprain, and he's considered doubtful to play Monday against the Raptors, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Nelson missed six games with the initial wrist injury, but he returned Thursday against the Wizards and also played Saturday against the Pacers. It's unclear how the setback came about, but Nelson is on track to sit out Monday night, and he could miss additional contests with the Nuggets playing Wednesday against the Jazz and Friday versus the Bulls. If Nelson misses time, expect rookie Emmanuel Mudiay to continue to see big minutes, with Randy Foye and Sean Kilpatrick picking up some extra minutes off the bench.
