Tyreke Evans: Expected to start Saturday

Evans (knee) is probable and expected to start Saturday versus the Nets, John Reid of the Times-Picayune reports.

Analysis:

Evans was forced to miss Thursday's matchup with the Kings due to tendinitis in his right knee. Although there was no team shootaround Saturday morning due to an earlier game time, all thing indicate that Evans would have been able to participate, and should be good to go come tip-off. Barring any setbacks, expect Evans to take on his usual workload with the team. If Anthony Davis (concussion) cannot go again, he may be asked to take on even more offensive responsibly as well.
