San Antonio Spurs center Tim Duncan will not play in Saturday night's contest against Cleveland Cavaliers, the team announced Friday.

Duncan is dealing with a sore right knee, and will miss his third straight game with the injury.

The Spurs have coped well without the Wake Forest product this season, going 8-1 in his absence.

The 18-year veteran is putting up the lowest numbers of his career in 2015-16, averaging 8.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, three assists, and 1.3 blocks.

Despite their embarrassing defeat to the Golden State Warriors on Monday, the Spurs have been red-hot lately, winning 14 of their last 15 games.
