PHOTO: Westbrook dons self-promoting hat after beating Timberwolves

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the pesky Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, but it wasn't easy.

The Timberwolves kept the contest close thanks to brilliant performances by Zach LaVine (35 points on 14-of-17 from the field and 5-for-8 from beyond the arc), Gorgui Dieng (21 points and nine rebounds), Andrew Wiggins (20 points), and Karl-Anthony Towns (19 points and 13 boards). Unfortunately for them, none of that was enough.

Kevin Durant led OKC with 27 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, while his dynamic running mate, Russell Westbrook, exploded for 24 points and 15 boards.

Following the 126-123 victory, Westbrook - who has his own fashion line - rocked a ball cap with his name on it.

Likely playing on Nike's "Just Do It" slogan, No. 0's "Just Don Westbrook" hat lacks subtlety.

But then again, have we ever known Russ to be understated in anything he does?
