LaVine, Drummond, Barton, Gordon to participate in Slam Dunk contest

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The lineup for the 2016 Slam Dunk contest has been made official.

Zach LaVine of the Minnesota Timberwolves will return to defend his 2015 crown against Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons, Will Barton of the Denver Nuggets, and Aaron Gordon of the Orlando Magic on Feb. 13 at All-Star weekend in Toronto.

LaVine was the only Slam Dunk contest participant last year to earn a score of 50 on two of his jams. He beat out Orlando's Victor Oladipo in the finals, as well as Mason Plumlee of the Brooklyn Nets, and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round to take home the trophy.
