Derrick Rose: Dealing with sore hamstring

Rose will be re-evaluated Tuesday morning following his exit from Monday's game against the Heat after he tweaked his lower back and experienced soreness in his right hamstring, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Rose only played 13 minutes Monday and the extent of his injuries won't be made clear until his medical tests are unveiled. The hamstring injury is believed to be the more serious of the two ailments, which Rose suffered when he fell awkwardly during a layup attempt. If Rose is forced to miss Thursday's game against the Lakers and beyond, Aaron Brooks could be in store for considerable run since the only other point guards on the roster -- E'Twaun Moore (hamstring) and Kirk Hinrich (quadriceps) -- are also dealing with their own ailments.
