Dwight Howard (ankle) will not play in Monday's game against New Orleans

Howard (ankle) will not play in Monday's game against New Orleans, Rockets radio announcer Craig Ackerman reports.

Analysis:

Howard will miss his third game in a row after spraining his ankle last week Wednesday against Detroit. Howard was originally listed as doubtful to return, and his next opportunity to get back will Wednesday against the Spurs. Look for Clint Capela to again see extra time as he fills in as the starting center while Howard is out.
