Tony Parker: Will play Friday

Parker (hip) will play Friday against the Lakers, Mike Trudell of ESPN Los Angeles reports.

Analysis:

Parker did not play Thursday due to a hip injury, but the Spurs were likely being extra cautious with him because it was the front end of a back-to-back. Expect the veteran point guard to take on his normal workload in the San Antonio backcourt.
