LaMarcus Aldridge: Ruled out Friday

Aldridge has been ruled out for Friday's game due to back spasms.

Analysis:

Aldridge played 22 minutes Thursday in the front end of the Spurs' back-to-back set and was underwhelming compared to his usual production, posting just seven points on 3-of-9 shooting. Now, the team has announced that Aldridge is dealing with back spasms and will not take the floor Friday against the Lakers. Although Aldridge will sit out Friday, Tony Parker (hip) and Tim Duncan (rest) are expected to return to action against Los Angeles, which should limit the impact of Aldridge's absence. Look for David West and Boris Diaw to absorb Aldridge's minutes.
