Tony Parker: Expected to play Friday

Parker (hip) is expected to play Friday against the Lakers, Jeff McDonaldof the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Analysis:

Parker did not play Thursday in the Spurs 117-89 victory over the Suns, but is expected to suit up Friday. The Spurs likely did not want to play him both nights of a back-to-back in order to take it easy on his nagging hip. Expect confirmation on his status closer to tip-off.
