Gordon (finger) underwent successful surgery Wednesday, and will be out four-to-six weeks while recovering from the procedure, John Reid of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Analysis:

Gordon fractured the ring finger on his right (shooting) hand in Tuesday's win against the Timberwolves, and as expected, he'll be on track to miss at least the next month. It's unclear who will replace Gordon in the starting lineup, but it seems likely that the Pelicans will start either Jrue Holiday or Norris Cole at point guard and move Tyreke Evans over to Gordon's spot at shooting guard.
