Did Rudy Gobert take veiled shot at Hassan Whiteside?

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA's Twitter fingers were active and popping off Tuesday night.

Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert started out with a cryptic tweet:

While it didn't mention a particular player, Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic took the opportunity to call Gobert out:

Gobert didn't hesitate, saying it was Vucevic's teammate with "that ugly ponytail" - which is basically Evan Fournier (although he actually has a bun, but whatever.)

Fournier then jumped in on the conversation, responding in French - the native language of Gobert and Fournier:

"Blancote," huh? (Nancy Drew says: en francais, "Blanc" means "white"; "cote" means "side").

Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside finished Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks with a good stat line: 23 points and 18 rebounds, even though his team lost.

Makes you think, right?

All was well in the morning though:
