Evans (knee) will play Friday against Charlotte, John Reid of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Analysis:

Despite having his knee drained Thursday, Evans will be back on the floor for Friday's matchup against the Hornets. He left the Pelicans' most recent game Wednesday with knee soreness and is unlikely to be playing at 100 percent for Friday's contest, but his presence will likely limit Jrue Holiday's minutes provided that he remains in the starting lineup.
