Westbrook, Barea get technical fouls for skirmish; Villanueva ejected

Halfway through the second quarter in Wednesday's matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks, point guards J.J. Barea and Russell Westbrook got tangled up, resulting in some extracurricular activity after the whistle.

Both players were assessed technical fouls for their roles in the incident.

Mavericks reserve forward Charlie Villanueva was ejected for grabbing Westbrook's throat during the ensuing fracas.

Thunder big man Serge Ibaka was also given a technical for shoving Villanueva.

Later in the game, Westbrook picked up his second tech - resulting in an ejection - for a separate on-court confrontation with Barea.
