Lawson has completed his three-game suspension and will reclaim a spot in the Rockets' rotation during Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, according to interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

After the Rockets defeated the Grizzlies by a 107-91 count Tuesday, Lawson should give the team some fresh legs for the second half of the back-to-back set. Both Jason Terry and Marcus Thornton saw elevated roles off the bench while Lawson was out, but Lawson is expected to eat into the minutes of both players as he slots back into the top backup spot at point guard behind starter Patrick Beverley. Bickerstaff also noted Tuesday that Lawson is fully recovered from the sprained ankle he suffered on Jan. 2, so Lawson shouldn't face any restrictions in his return to active duty.
