VIDEO: LeBron, Kyrie combine for 66 points against Wizards

The incomparable duo of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving torched the Washington Wizards to the tune of 66 points on 26-of-44 shooting to help the Cleveland Cavaliers to their fifth straight victory on Wednesday.

But LeBron probably said it best.

"It's almost like the WWF back in the day," James said in the postgame interview. "Tag-team match. When he's ready for me to come in, he tags me in. When I'm ready for him to get some, I tag him in."

James shook off a slow first and exploded for a 12-point second quarter. He followed that up with a 14-point effort in the third before finishing with 34 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.

Irving took over for the fourth. He hung 19 points against his nemesis John Wall, who had complained about Irving's lead in All-Star voting. Irving finished with 32 points, five rebounds, and three assists to Wall's 20 and 12.

Then again, the Cavaliers were far from their best. They conceded 115 points to a Wizards team that was short four rotation players, and they relied heavily on the individual brilliance of their star players to salvage poor possessions with unbelievable shot-making.

But luckily for the Cavaliers, they have brilliance and star players in spades. And more times than not, talent wins out.

"To have that one-two punch right there, it's something special," James said.
