James Harden records 2nd triple-double in 3 games
Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden can hurt opposing teams in so many different ways, and on Sunday afternoon against the Dallas Mavericks, the three-time All-Star was a one-man wrecking crew once again.
Harden posted his second triple-double in the last three games, scoring 23 points on 7-of-18 shooting, grabbing 15 rebounds, and dishing 10 assists in a 115-114 win over Houston's Southwest Division rivals.
He becomes the first Rocket player since Hakeem Olajuwon in 1989-90 to record multiple 15-rebound triple-doubles in the same season, according to ESPN Stats and Info.
It was on Wednesday in a 123-114 loss to the Detroit Pistons when Harden put up his only other triple-double of the season, finishing with a line of 33 points, 17 rebounds, and 14 assists in 36 minutes of action.
