Kenneth Faried of the Denver Nuggets suffered an apparent neck injury in the final minute of the Golden State Warriors' 111-108 overtime win Saturday, and was later removed from Oracle Arena on a stretcher.

Faried appeared to be hit in the head in the paint with 16 seconds left. He stood for a moment before being helped to the floor, where he remained as time expired in the game.

After the contest ended, a stretcher was brought out and the power forward was removed from the arena in a neck brace. In a positive development, he signaled thumbs up to the crowd.
