Clippers rest Pierce vs. 76ers

Paul Pierce was rested Saturday when the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 38-year-old had sat out two previous games this season.

He's drawn six starts in 32 contests in his first campaign with the Clippers. He's averaging five points while shooting 33.8 percent from the floor in under 17 minutes per game - all career lows.
