Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant are widely considered to be two of the greatest players in the history of the NBA, so when Jordan decided to honor the five-time champion's career with a video message on Monday night, it made for a truly special moment.

The Time Warner Cable Arena was packed to the rafters with a record sellout crowd of 19,632 fans as "The Black Mamba" competed in his last game in the city. The Hornets ensured Bryant's final visit didn't end on a happy note, though, sending the Lakers to their fourth loss in a row and sixth in seven games with a 108-98 victory.

Following the game, Lakers guard Nick Young was asked about Jordan's tribute to his legendary teammate, which he thought was great.

"It's like Kanye (West) getting on the Tron & shoutin' me out," Young said, according to Lakers Nation's Serena Winters.

Young, who scored 11 points with three 3-pointers in the loss, is a very outspoken individual with a colorful personality to boot. Him wanting "The Louis Vuitton Don" to acknowledge him in a tribute video shouldn't surprise anyone, really.

To each their own.
