J.R. Smith is gunning for the "Son of the Year" award.
The Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard surprised his father with a truck for Christmas, to thank him for everything he has done.
"He put the basketball in my hands, he is the only reason why I play," Smith explained to Fox Sports Ohio.
