Danilo Gallinari: Ruled out of second straight game

Gallinari (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

Unsurprisingly, the left ankle sprain will cost Gallinari both halves of the Nuggets' back-to-back set, making Saturday's tilt with the Spurs the earliest possible return date for The Rooster. Kostas Papanikolaou started at small forward in Tuesday's loss to the Lakers, but only saw 11 minutes. Instead, much of Gallinari's playing time was allocated to Will Barton (38 minutes), Gary Harris (35 minutes), and Randy Foye (29 minutes), all of whom rank as more appealing DFS alternatives.
