Anderson (ankle) is not expected to make his season debut for another 3-to-5 weeks, the Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

The veteran underwent surgery over the summer to remove bone fragments from his ankle, and subsequent discomfort resulted in a second procedure in October. The 33-year-old is yet to play this season, but after meeting with the team's medical staff on Monday, he's been cleared to begin on-court activities. Considering he'll require a few weeks to work back into game shape, the Wizards don't expect Anderson to debut until late January or early February.
