Raptors' Johnson out vs. Mavericks with sprained ankle

Toronto Raptors forward James Johnson will not play against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, according to the team.

The seven-year veteran has missed a handful of games this season, and will sit out Tuesday's contest due to a left ankle sprain he sustained during pregame warmups.

The 28-year-old Wake Forest product is averaging 5.1 points, 2.2 points, 1.1 assists, and 0.6 steals through 24 games.
