Lawson has been cleared to return to action after serving his two-game suspension stemming from a DUI arrest last January, Mark Berman of Fox 26 in Houston reports.

Analysis:

The point guard was held out of Saturday's win over the Clippers, as well as Monday's victory over Charlotte, and he'll be available off the bench for Wednesday's matchup with the Magic. Lawson has been a massive disappointment thus far after coming over from Denver, and he's averaging an astounding 3.4 points on just 30.3 percent shooting in nine December games. The Rockets have experimented with Lawson starting, as well as coming off the bench, and neither tactic has been effective in jumpstarting his season. While his value has virtually bottomed out, Houston may look to deal the 28-year-old if another team is willing to present an attractive trade package.
