Pacers' George feeling better, will play Wednesday

Paul George will play Wednesday when his Indiana Pacers host the Dallas Mavericks, head coach Frank Vogel said.

George was listed as questionable Tuesday with an upper respiratory infection, but Vogel remained confident that the two-time All-Star would be ready to go.

An early MVP candidate if it weren't for the likes of Stephen Curry, George has cooled off in the past two games after a torrid month-long stretch.

For the season, George is averaging career highs in points (26.5), rebounds (7.8), and assists (4.1), while shooting a career-best 43.3 percent from 3-point range. The Pacers have been eight points per 100 possessions better with him on the floor.
