Shumpert (groin) isn't expected to play Thursday against the Thunder, but the groin injury he suffered in Tuesday's win over the Celtics isn't believed to be very severe, the Akron Beacon Journal's Jason Lloyd reports.

Analysis:

He left Tuesday's game in the fourth quarter with the right groin strain, but it looks like the injury isn't quite as problematic as the one that troubled him during the Cavs' second-round playoff series with the Bulls last May. It's possible that he could return Sunday against the 76ers or on Dec. 23 against the Knicks.
