Suns' Chandler probable vs. Timberwolves

Jennifer Stewart / USA TODAY Sports

The Phoenix Suns could see a familiar face return to their lineup when they face the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Tyson Chandler has been upgraded to probable for Sunday night's game, according to Paul Coro of The Arizona Republic.

Chandler has missed the last eight contests with a hamstring injury, and the Suns have gone 3-5 in his absence.

There is no guarantee he'll return to the starting lineup, as his replacement, Alex Len, has fared well, averaging 10.6 points on 53.6 percent shooting and 8.3 rebounds in nine games as a starter.

With a 10-14 record, Phoenix currently sits ninth in the Western Conference. If Chandler can get back to the form he showed last season, the Suns will have a decent shot at a playoff spot.
