VIDEO: Lou Williams chats with fans on sideline during Lakers' possession

This is how bad things have gotten in Lakers land.

Locked in a tight, two-possession game with the Minnesota Timberwolves midway through the third quarter on Wednesday night, Los Angeles had the ball for an ostensibly important offensive possession.

You'd think, for such a possession, that the Lakers would be locked in, focused on moving around and making something happen; cutting into space, setting screens, running decoys, getting ready to crash the boards, anything.

Instead, they ran something so laconic and stagnant, guard Lou Williams didn't even bother to pay attention. Instead, he casually jawed with some fans sitting courtside. While the play was going on.

A season ago, Williams was a human fireball, lighting up opposing second units on his way to Sixth Man of the Year honors with the Toronto Raptors.

Twenty games with the Lakers appear to have exacted a toll.
