Ish Smith: Gets DNP-CD

Smith (coach's decision) remained glued to the bench for the entirety of New Orleans' overtime victory Friday against the Cavaliers.

Analysis:

The Pelicans are regaining their health, and that has proven to be detrimental to Smith's playing time. With Tyreke Evans and Norris Cole back in action, Smith will have a hard time finding time on the court on days Jrue Holiday isn't resting. Smith had been a pleasant surprise when given playing time, averaging 11.1 points and 7.4 assists this season, but those numbers only figure to steadily fade from here on out.
