Monta Ellis: Day-to-day after taking knee to back

Ellis took a knee to the back in Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers, leaving him day-to-day.

Analysis:

The initial indication was that Ellis' departure was in relation to a right shoulder contusion, but it was actually related to a back issue apparently. Coach Frank Vogel indicated that he's hopeful Ellis will be ready for the team's next game Saturday against the Jazz, but his status should be update over the next couple days to confirm one way or another.
