Lucky fans who received Kobe Bryant's farewell letter at the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, may have inadvertently made a pretty good investment, especially if they didn't open it.

According to Melissa Rohlin of the Los Angeles Times, the letters are being auctioned on eBay for prices ranging from $100 to $1,000, depending on their condition.

As a demonstration of his gratitude for his fans after an illustrious 20-year career with the Lakers, the Black Mamba arranged for everyone in attendance that night to receive the giveaway.

"I really can't thank the fans enough, man," Bryant said Sunday. "They've been such a motivator for me, and such a catalyst for everything that I've accomplished. I have so much respect and love for them."
