Curry, Green refute report of disrespecting Jazz

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry and power forward Draymond Green took exception to a report from Ben Dowsett of Basketball Insiders.

Dowsett, who mostly covers the Utah Jazz, reported that Green snickered at a fan's suggestion that the Jazz were close to championship contention based on the competitiveness of Monday's game, which the Warriors won 106-103.

Green took to Twitter to adamantly denounce the report.

Curry doubled down on Green's comments.

Dowsett, who was in the Warriors' locker room following Monday's game in Salt Lake City, initially said he'd expected a little more respect for the Jazz from the Warriors - especially Green.

Dowsett later offered a mea culpa in regards to Curry's involvement in the matter.

Deseret News reporter Carter Williams split the difference between the Warriors and Dowsett, although Dowsett called Williams' assertion, "just not true."
