Lawson (coach's decision) failed to take the court in Sunday's win over the Knicks.

Analysis:

After being dropped from his starting role last week, Lawson fell out of the rotation entirely Sunday, failing to play for the first time this season. A healthy Patrick Beverley will continue to start at point guard for the Rockets and dominate the minutes, while Jason Terry appears to have eclipsed Lawson as the top backup option. Lawson has struggled with his shot all season long and is sitting on a 32.5 percent mark from the field over his 16 games, and it doesn't look as though he'll see many opportunities in the near future to dramatically improve in that regard. Those in shallower or mid-sized leagues can safely cut bait with Lawson, and with no guarantee that he'll reclaim decent minutes at any point this season, deep leaguers might want to start assessing other options as well.
