Dunleavy (back) has been dealing with some renewed soreness and will visit a doctor Monday for a checkup, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Dunleavy, who was ruled out for eight-to-10 weeks in late September after undergoing the procedure on his lower back, has now passed the nine-week mark in his recovery process, and it doesn't sound like he'll be ready to go by the end of that original timetable. The visit with the doctor should determine if Dunleavy has experienced a setback, but even if he receives positive news Monday, he may still need a week or more of practice time before he's cleared to make his season debut. The Bulls will continue to hand most of the minutes at small forward to Tony Snell and Doug McDermott while Dunleavy remains out.
