Al Jefferson: Exits Sunday with left calf strain

Jefferson sustained a left calf strain during the first half of Sunday's game against the Bucks and is doubtful to return, Charles F. Garnder of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Unless Jefferson immediately responds well to treatment, it looks like Sunday's outing will end early for him, opening up extra minutes for Frank Kaminsky, Spencer Hawes, and Cody Zeller in the frontcourt. Jefferson, who posted one point (0-1 FG, 1-2 FT) and one rebound in seven minutes before his departure, isn't expected to miss extensive time to the injury, but he'll remain questionable heading into Wednesday's game against the Warriors.
