Brooks (hamstring) has been ruled out of Monday's matchup with the Spurs, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Brooks has reportedly been showing some improvement recently, but considering he was ruled out for a game a day in advance, it could mean he's still further away from a return than originally believed. His next opportunity to play will be Wednesday versus the Nuggets, but don't be surprised to see him sit again as he continues to work back from the hamstring injury. With Kirk Hinrich also questionable for Monday's game with a hip pointer, E'Twaun Moore could see a ton of extra minutes as the Bulls' backup point guard.
