DeMarcus Cousins: Will sit out again Saturday

Cousins (back) will not play Saturday in Golden State, Bill Herenda of KFBK AM Radio reports.

Analysis:

Cousins' lower back strain will cause him to miss his third consecutive game Saturday. The injury occurred on Nov.23, and forced Cousins to exit the Kings' game in overtime. Sacramento likely does not want to force Cousins back into action too early, in order to avoid his back becoming a lingering issue. His next opportunity to take the court will be Monday in Sacramento versus the Mavericks. Expect an update on his status prior to that contest.
