Kent Bazemore to return from 5-game absence vs. Grizzlies

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Atlanta Hawks small forward Kent Bazemore will start Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Chris Vivalmore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Bazemore had been dealing with a right ankle sprain for the last five games. He'll replace Thabo Sefolosha in the starting rotation.

The 6-foot-5 forward has fared well in 12 games this season, putting up 12.1 points per game on 49 percent shooting and 43.9 percent from beyond the arc.

Bazemore won the starting small forward spot in training camp after DeMarre Carroll signed with the Toronto Raptors.
