Cavaliers without Dellavedova against Raptors

One point guard back in action, one to the sidelines.

As the Cleveland Cavaliers welcome Mo Williams back to the lineup Wednesday after a three-game absence, Matthew Dellavedova will not play against the Toronto Raptors.

Dellavedova is dealing with a calf issue, and the Toronto game will mark his first DNP this season. The scrappy Aussie has been the first guard off the bench for the Cavs and is averaging 7.9 points and 5.9 assists in 26.8 minutes per game. His absence will give more minutes to Jared Cunningham.

Cavs coach David Blatt sounded optimistic Delly would be back on Friday.

"We decided to hold him out tonight and hopefully the extra day or two of rest will help him and he'll be able to play (Friday)," Blatt told reporters.
