Wesley Johnson didn't secure a permanent starting lineup spot after getting his first career start on Tuesday night against the Nuggets, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Johnson, who started for the first time this season Tuesday against the Nuggets, isn't a lock to stick in the lineup permanently, Clippers coach Doc Rivers the Los Angeles Times reports. "That lineup is a lineup that I'm going to keep moving, depending on guys," Rivers said. "I like Wes the most because of his size and his ability to shoot, but there's nights where you play a great offensive player at that spot, and we may go with a defensive guy. We're going to just keep moving it around."

Analysis:

Johnson played well while replacing Paul Pierce at small forward Tuesday, finishing with 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt), two rebounds, and one assist. Rivers has used seven different starting lineups so far this season, and seems inclined to mix and match based on personnel, particularly at the small forward spot. Along with Johnson and Pierce, Lance Stephenson and even Luc Richard Mbah a Moute could warrant consideration for a starting role on a given night, which will work to cannibalize the fantasy utility of all four players.
