Mo Williams: Will play Wednesday evening
Williams (ankle) said Wednesday morning that he would return to the starting lineup later in evening against the Raptors, Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com reports.
Analysis:
Williams missed the previous three games with a right ankle injury. His replacement in the starting lineup for the last two games, Matthew Dellevadova (ankle), will come off the bench if he's cleared to play, while third-stringer Jared Cunningham would see his minutes decline in such a scenario. The veteran Williams is expected to remain in a starting role and see around 30 minutes per night until Kyrie Irving (knee) is back to full strength, likely near the end of the December.
