LeBron goes quiet when asked for his favorite Reggie Miller moment

LeBron James sits just five points behind Reggie Miller on the NBA's all-time scoring list and is poised to pass him soon.

But don't ask the Cleveland Cavaliers star to name his favorite moment from Miller's career.

Although the retired great has many highlights to choose from - namely Miller scoring eight points in nine seconds in the playoffs against the New York Knicks in 1995 - James responded with two words when asked if he had a favorite, according to Cleveland.com's Joe Vardon.

"Uh, no," he said, and waited for the next question.

In an effort to sniff out a potential beef, Vardon asked James for some clarification.

"Nah, I have no problem with Reggie," James said with a hint of a smile, Vardon reports.

Perhaps it has something to do with Miller saying that he would take Larry Bird over James in a draft if he were given a choice while on "The Dan Patrick show" in August.

Or maybe King James is just sick of the inevitable comparisons that occur between talented players.

"I think what we get caught up in, in our league too much is trying to compare greats to greats instead of just accepting and acknowledging and saying, 'Wow, these are just great players,'" said James.

"I think in the NFL when you talk about great quarterbacks, they don't really compare great quarterbacks. They say, 'Oh, Joe Montana is great.' You know, 'Tom Brady is great. Aaron Rodgers is great. Steve Young is great.' (Terry) Bradshaw, all those great quarterbacks they never compare them as much, but when it comes to our sport we're so eager to say, 'Who is better, Oscar or (Michael) Jordan?' or 'Jordan or LeBron or Kobe or these guys?' instead of just accepting greatness."
