Suns without Eric Bledsoe as they face Spurs

Mark J. Rebilas / USA Today Sports

Eric Bledsoe sat out of Monday's game between the Phoenix Suns and the San Antonio Spurs.

The starting point guard is dealing with a sore left knee. Despite working out on the floor prior to the contest, he didn't play.

He's the leading scorer for the Suns, who had lost two of three. Without its usual double point guard set, Phoenix started rookie Devin Booker at shooting guard.

Bledsoe has played in every game this season and averages 23.2 points on 48-percent shooting and a 39.3-percent stroke from 3-point territory.

The Spurs were also without power forward LaMarcus Aldridge for the game.
