Durant nearing return, still out vs. Mavericks

Oklahoma City Thunder wing Kevin Durant won't play Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks, according to The Oklahoman's Anthony Slater.

The six-time All-Star missed the last five games due to a strained hamstring - an injury he sustained Nov. 10 versus the Washington Wizards.

Durant is reportedly likely returning to game action soon, as he "moved fluidly" at the team's shootaround Sunday morning.

The 27-year-old superstar is averaging 28.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, and three assists in eight games, while shooting a scorching 44.7 percent from beyond the arc.

The Thunder are 2-3 this season with Durant out of the lineup.
