Kevin Durant: Will not play Sunday

Durant (hamstring) has been ruled out of Sunday's matchup with the Mavericks, Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman reports.

Analysis:

Despite having upped his activity in the Thunder's recent practices, Durant will remain sidelined Sunday, as he continues to work his way back from a strained hamstring. The Thunder originally replaced Durant with Anthony Morrow in the starting lineup, but decided to use Dion Waiters as a starter instead during Friday's matchup with the Knicks. It's still to be determined which of those two players will earn the starting nod Sunday, but both should see increased minutes with Durant out. In the meantime, the Thunder will wait and see if Durant can heal up in time for the second half of the team's back-to-back set Monday in Utah.
