Kevin Durant (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game.

Durant (hamstring) has formally been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans, Royce Young of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Durant had a very small glimmer of hope to play Wednesday after taking part in some full-court shooting drills at morning shootaround, but the Thunder quickly put the kibosh on an early return. After Wednesday's contest, Oklahoma City will be off the schedule for two days before hosting the Knicks on Saturday, which may be the date Durant is targeting for a return. For what it's worth, it doesn't sound like Durant has endured any further setbacks since he first sustained the hamstring strain last week, but his activity over the next two days will likely dictate his availability for Saturday.
