Kobe Bryant: Not on injury list for Friday

Bryant (back, knees) isn't listed on the Lakers' injury report for their tilt Friday with the Raptors, Eric Pincus of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

Bryant's back and knees have been aggravating him of late, forcing him to sit out for the third time in five games Monday against the Suns. Although it seems possible that the aging Bryant may struggle to maintain 100 percent health throughout the season, it looks like Monday's rest may have offered him enough time to prepare for Friday's game. Check back on Bryant's status after Friday's morning shootaround just to ensure that he hasn't suffered any kind of setback that might prevent him from suiting up later that evening.
