Khloe Kardashian: I told Odom he has brain injury

Former NBA star Lamar Odom is unsure of how he ended up in his current condition, his estranged wife told television host Ellen DeGeneres.

"We tell him he had a brain injury," reality TV personality Khloe Kardashian said Monday on the talk show "Ellen."

"I can't tell him how that brain injury was caused because it will set him back. He's really confused a lot, so we have to remind him. Every day is different."

Kardashian added Odom is off organ support machines, but he's "learning how to walk again and feed himself again, put sentences together."

The 36-year-old Odom overdosed on what was believed to be cocaine during an October binge at a Nevada brothel. Authorities are considering filing felony drug charges against the 2011 NBA Sixth Man of the Year.
